Sometimes when you are a student at an educational institution – you will read sometimes called a syllabus that will give you more of a description of the course. The syllabus can be a guidebook of how to successfully complete the course. The syllabus may have information like when does the course meet, who is the instructor, and grading policies.
As you read the syllabus, you may find it helpful to create outline or list on a calendar when the different grading projects are due. You may find it useful to track your assignments. That way you may be able to plan out ahead of time when the different assignments from the course are due.

Community Colleges may be a place where you can obtain additional training to help you obtain additional career opportunities. Community Colleges may be lower costs to obtain the education as compared to other educational places. Community Colleges may be a good option if you looking to get trained in other careers.

The book gives basic information about the acting profession. The book gives some different tools to learn about the acting profession.

Acting profession can be a very competitive profession
Besides looking for other opportunities, you may be able to go into business yourself to create your own opportunities.
You may be able to (for example) use the technology of today to create videos that show your acting ability
And then you can post your video on the Internet
You may be able to sell your videos and gain exposure of your career as an actor
You can create your own opportunities while searching for other opportunities
You can be the star of your small mountain of your videos while searching for opportunities to be a star of the larger mountain of a major employer in creative acting organization
Career Assessments
Career Assessments may help you with career exploration. Career Assessments can give you information of other possible career options. Be aware a career assessment cannot tell you what to do; a career assessment not able to provide you with THE answer. Do not approach a career assessment as a “test” that will tell you want career you should go into. Career Assessments are more of a tool to give you more additional information about possible careers you may be interested in.
Career Experts
Career Experts may be able to help you with career exploration. Career experts are experts you can pay for to help you with your career exploration. Career experts may be career coaches, career counselors or other professionals. Be careful of arrangements where you may pay for services ahead of time before seeing the career expert; you may not be able to get your money back if you decide to no longer see the career expert. You may find paying only during the times you actually see the career expert to be more useful to you.

Lets image the following:
- you receive a message that requests that you call an organization at 2:00 pm for an important meeting.
- the organization based in New York City in the state of New York. New York City would be in the Eastern Time Zone of the United States.
- you live in Kansas City in the state of Missouri. Kansas City is in the Central Time Zone.
- The message does not say if it is 2:00 pm Eastern Time Zone or 2:00 pm Central Time Zone – how do you know the correct time to call? Is the location that you are calling have Daylight Savings Time that could affect what time you are to call the organization?
You want (if possible) create an agreement with the organization as to what time to call. (Let’s say in the example it was 2:00 pm Central Time Zone). Time Zones can sometimes create confusion as to when two people should connect over the phone.
There can be different Internet web sites that can give guidance on time zones. Here one potential web site that may help.
A web site called www.timeanddate.com can help you will time zones. The web site will give you the correct time of two different locations. You can use the following:
Click the web site: www.timeanddate.com
Then click
Time Zone (a link in the upper part of the screen – the third link from the left)
You will then get a menu of choices will appear
Then click
Time Zone Converter
You can then type in two cities and the time of one of the cities.
The web site will then give you the time of the other city.
Web site mentions will adjust for Daylight Savings Time.
Time Zones may can create confusion as to when people should contact each other. The Internet can help people to know the information when to call each other between time zones.

Sometimes when I watch the news, I can feel stress and depressed; some of this may be that the news tend to emphasize negative news rather then positive news; will hear about the bus driver crash instead of the bus driver who spent 30 years safety transporting children day after day.
If the news gets you down, you may consider just to unplug from the news. You can still learn what going on in the world; you may just adjust the amount of news that you receive. You may decide to obtain a news summary. You may decide to hear the news summary from a radio broadcast that does news at the top of the hour. You may be able to get your news from a news summary rather than watching (or listening or reading) the news for several hours
Instead of the news, here some activities to consider:
* Hobby – look into doing a hobby that may interest you
* Read – read a book
* Movie – watch a movie that interests your
* Get involved – may be able to find ways to get involved on a particular issue that interests you
* Social connections – people are social animals; people are social beings; you may find it valuable to stay in contact with people. Social connections may help you with stress you may have. You may be able to find the social connections with each other
* Look up something positive – with the negative news; sometimes difficulty to see the positive stuff that goes in life. You may not be able to see the positive events that occur in life. For example, you may be able to enjoy a wonderful piece of food that you enjoy (hello sausage pizza). You can search for positive news on the Internet. Do an Internet search looking up terms like “Good news” or “Positive news”. You could do a search on Google (Or search on YouTube to watch a positive video)
You can look on Google to find other search terms to search by. You can search for the definition of terms like “Good”, “positive” or “news” to give you other terms to search by.
* Comedy – laughter can improve much; you may enjoy watching your favorite comedian or watching a comedy movie.
* Play a game – play a game with others
I enjoy searching for the research that in development and new treatments for Covid 19 that can help people.
If you are getting depressed from the news, consider unplugging from the news for awhile; don’t listen (or watch or read) the news for several hours. Consider doing another activity,
To those facing difficulties, thoughts, prayers, hopes and other stuff (and anything else one can think of where people can express this better than I) – hope your situation improves.
To those facing joys, celebrate the joy and hope you continue to have them.
