If you create content, you may wish to protect your content from being copied by others.
You can sometimes get protection from something called a copyright.  A copyright can give you legal protection that may prevent other from using your work.
Copyright protection given as soon as you create your creative work.  However, you may be able to seek additional protections by registering your creative work.  Registering your creative work can give you a record that you are the creator of that creative work.

Process of registering a creative work can by from the United States Copyright Office.
Go to: https://www.copyright.gov/
Then can click the picture that says “Register: Register a Copyright” photograph
